Everything you enter into Mood Print — mood check-ins, emotions, activities, journal notes, and goals — is stored only on your device. We do not operate a server, do not collect your data, and cannot see it. There is no account, sign-up, or login.
All of this is stored locally on your device. None of it is transmitted to us, because we don’t have a server for it to go to.
If you turn on the optional app lock, your PIN is never stored in plain text — only a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of it is saved on your device, and it never leaves the device.
If you enable biometric unlock (fingerprint or face), the check is performed entirely by your device’s operating system. Mood Print never sees, receives, or stores your fingerprint or face data — it only receives a yes/no result from the system.
If you add a Mood Print widget, the app saves a small summary — your current streak and the colors of your recent moods — to your device’s local storage so the widget can display it. This stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.
Exporting or backing up your data creates a file on your device (a CSV export, or a full JSON backup) and opens your device’s share sheet — where that file goes afterward is entirely your choice. Restoring reads a backup file that you select. The Share, Rate, and Help links in the app open your browser, email app, or system share sheet, subject to that destination’s own privacy practices, not ours.
Subscription payment is handled entirely by Google Play Billing (or Apple’s App Store, on iOS). We never receive or store your payment card details — that data is governed by Google’s or Apple’s own privacy policies.
Reminders to check in are scheduled locally on your device. They are not push notifications sent from a server, and nothing about your usage is transmitted anywhere to trigger them.
No analytics or tracking SDKs. No advertising or ad networks. No selling or sharing your data with third parties. No account system, so there is no personal profile of you on any server we control.
You can delete individual mood entries or goals at any time within the app. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data — since nothing is stored on a server, there is nothing left to delete elsewhere.
Mood Print is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
If our practices change, this page will be updated and the “last updated” date above will reflect that.
